About Google Penguin
Google Penguin was first announced in 24, April, 2012. The
main aim of Google Penguin is to pull down the search engine ranking of websites
which are using black-hat techniques and also the techniques which are not
accepted by Google and provide good ranking to the sites which are working on a
writer format as per Google guidelines.

Penguin on the Websites
When there was no such update like google penguin, all SEOs
and webmasters were working on a fixed pattern and where following all the wrong
techniques such as keyword stuffing, duplicate content, link building, cloaking
etc. hence, the search results were also used to get effected. But when Google
launched its update Google Penguin 1.1 on May 25, 2012 all those websites which
were using black hat techniques got badly affected.
After Penguin 1.1, Google launched the next version named
Google Penguin 2.0 on May 22, 2013. The
single aim of this update was to serve a better and more relevant result to the
Google user. Google now give no importance to the below mention points:
•Irrelevant sites based on a irrelevant topics.
•Paid links
•Keyword rich WebPages or keyword stuffing.
•Links where the anchor text is overly optimized
